A simple Question, or so you would think, however it is one that we so often forget to ask of ourselves, on a regular basis. Of course it’s not quite as simple as that – we do need to break it down a little into these three small questions:

  • What is my long-term goal?
  • Are my short-term steps taken me in the right direction?
  • What adjustments are necessary?

We all need a long term goal, it acts like our ‘north star’ – it means that no matter what happens on a day to day basis to take us off track, we know where we are heading and this can then orientate us back in the direction of our choosing. Continue reading

The Psychology of Stanley

Introducing Stanley

I am a cat lover, I have always been a cat lover and I will always be a cat lover. You could be forgiven therefore if you believe that Stanley is of the feline variety. Stanley is however most definitely not a cat.

He is a very handsome cross breed dog defined as a Cockapoo, an F1 version, no less, indicating that he is the direct descendant of a pedigree cocker spaniel that has been deliberately mated with a pedigree poodle. We have often commented that Stanley, would in previous times have been labeled as a mongrel – though mongrel he is not if only for the price tag that was associated with his purchase.
